Basinview Ridge

Project Description
Terrain Group has a leading role in this subdivision project of significant scale. The site is on 25 acres between the established subdivisions of Basinview Ridge and Nottingham in Bedford, Nova Scotia. The area will consist of approximately 100 single-family lots, 16 townhouse lots, and an apartment/condominium site. It has been under construction since June 2003 and is scheduled for completion November 2003.

Services Provided
Terrain provided its turnkey package of planning, engineering, and surveying services for the client. Our Planning group was involved in the evolution of the concept plan working closely with an appointed community liaison committee. They were also involved in the review and approval of the Development Agreement for the lands to obtain approval for subdivision and creation of residential home sites. Our firm also completed a construction review that allowed for construction of the finished product. Special attention was paid to dealing with stormwater management, noise migration from nearby Highway 102, and compatibility issues with existing residential neighbourhoods.
