Cow Bay Road Infrastructure Extension

Project Description
As part of the nationwide infrastructure program partnered between the three levels of government, a servicing study for the expansion of the service boundary, design of the trunk infrastructure, and provision of construction administration and review services was carried out. The total serviced area at buildout included more than 500 housing units.

A large (1000 USGPM) duplex sewage pumping station (SPS) was designed for the sewershed which included the Heritage Hills subdivision. This SPS serves the large Heritage Hills development

Services Provided
Terrain Group was selected in 1994 to undertake the servicing design for the area. The design was coordinated with the Municipality’s overall servicing plans and the proposed Heritage Hills development. Complete models of the stormwater and water systems were prepared and calibrated. Pipe sizing was based on the modeling exercise. Terrain Group also supplied construction administration and review services for the $1.8 million project.
