Services Provided
Terrain takes a lead in the development of Liquor Commission retail stores across Atlantic Canada in providing multi-disciplinary consulting services. These services range from a project management role led by the planning division that also involves civil engineering and surveying. More specifically, the planning division specializes in preparing concept plans, parking analysis, truck maneuvering, negotiating with municipalities on variances, development agreements or amendments to bylaw provisions (e.g. zoning/signage). The planning division also handles the management of obtaining the building and development permits.

Our engineering division provides detailed design for site grading and servicing plans with the survey division accompanying this by obtaining topographical/boundary information, preparing subdivision plans building stakeouts & location certificates. Throughout the construction process, Terrain provides on-site reviews to monitor the construction techniques to assist in the delivery of a quality development.

To date, over 20 projects have been successfully completed and opened across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. Future projects are in progress for new locations throughout Atlantic Canada.
