Royal Oaks Estates

Project Description
Royal Oaks Estates is an 800 plus mixed unit residential development nestled around a championship calibre golf course designed by Mr. Rees Jones. The development, a first for Atlantic Canada, provides fully serviced building lots, condominiums, and townhouses in a dedicated golf community. A unique feature of the development is a series of large interconnected ponds that act as water hazards, an irrigation source for the golf course, and provide water frontage and stormwater detention storage for the residential development.

Services Provided
Terrain Group provided a turnkey package of engineering and surveying services to the client. Initially, a complete boundary survey was performed to determine the exact limits of development. The site was then extensively mapped using RTK Global Positioning System technology. This data was used in the development of servicing concepts for water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage. These concepts were prepared and reviewed by the City of Moncton’s engineering department. Terrain provided full-time inspection for all phases of street construction. Subdivision plans were prepared and registered as required.
